Choice of accounts
- It is often quicker to open a private account than an organisational account - but only consider using a private account for organisation money in exceptional circumstances (e.g. poor security, or unacceptably long delays in opening organisation account).
- Consider a hard currency account as well as a local currency account, especially where the local currency is liable to rapid exchange rate fluctuations.
- If you want to make transfers regularly and you do not expect to have large amounts held, use only current accounts otherwise consider an interest bearing deposit account as well.
