About FME

The original idea for Financial Management for Emergencies (FME) came out of a discussion between Tim Foster and John Cammack in 2001. FME grew over the following years with Simon Hale joining the team in 2003.

FME was developed in association with Mango. Phil Wilks of Fruity Solutions designed and created the web site.

The site was made possible through the generous funding of the European Commission Humanitarian Office and with the support of Oxfam GB.

The case studies are drawn from the personal experience of the authors.

The authors currently keep the site up-to-date on a voluntary basis.
